In this 1970 view of Centre Street, a 1940s-era trolley, in use as a maintenance vehicle, passes Boston Five Bank on the left and Burroughs Street on the right. Note the "Ask Mr. Fowler" sign (the business is currently in another location on Centre St.). The building at the far corner of Burroughs Street was the home of C.B. Rogers Pharmacy.
